Happening Highveld is led through the Happening Steering Committee, serving the ministry with prayer, accountability, organisation and care for each Happening weekend.
How leadership works
The Steering Committee is led by the lay director(s), appointed by the Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of the Highveld, with spiritual guidance from an ordained cleric also appointed by the Bishop.
Committee members fill various portfolios and are elected at an AGM by those who have “happened”. The committee also includes the leaders, known as Rectors, of the current and upcoming Happening weekends.
